A Blessed Autumn season to you all!

This has been a busy fall although for most of you, my busy is probably not as busy as your busy:) G'pa has been working on tractor #2.  He had a safe harvest time. This week he is working at Bob's automotive while Uncle Bob & Aunt Mary are in the Netherlands.
Last week I went on a day trip with a few of my high school classmates. We went to shops around Kalona, IA and did a little shopping and lots of looking. Of course, in the events of the day, we had pie & coffee, lunch, and then later, an ice cream shop:) They show lots of quilts around there. I love to see them but haven't the talent for making them. Maybe it's the patience I don't have, probably both.
My brother, Uncle John, came for breakfast one morning. He had a meeting so was in town for about 24 hours. So good to see him again.
My brother, Uncle Bob, has been in the hospital again with another infection. He went back home this past Thursday. It was good he was there in time because he had a close call one night. His liver problems cause more problems and I am very thankful that his tests are finally improving and he is hopefully on the mend. He still cannot go back to work. He needs rest and not stress for his recovery.
We had new carpet installed in the sewing room which needed to be done in the worst way but kept getting put off. I repainted it, with G'pa's help, and found some border that I like. I started putting the border up by myself and fell off my ladder so G'pa wanted me to tell him when I was ready to do another roll. I told him I always put up border by myself and he said 'but now you fall'! Can't argue with that, can I?  It was really nice to have someone holding all that extra border while I got started with one end.  Now I am still going through stuff because I do not want everything that was in there to go back in there:(
A couple of weeks ago I went to a shower in Edgerton for Leah. It was good to meet her Mom and sisters. Julie sent a white kitty home with me for G'pa.
Love to all and God Bless!
