Last week Wednesday we took off with the camper trailer behind us and arrived at the
Clay County Fair. We spent the next 3 nights there and had enough fair to last us for another year. We enjoyed ourselves. Part of the enjoyment was seeing Julie in the Northwest IA Sheep Producers booth. John came with her on Thursday evening and stayed with us in the camper and walked around at the fair with G'pa until the next afternoon. It was a treat to have him with us. On Saturday morning we pulled the trailer over to Dave & Julie's and spent Sat & Sunday with them. We took off for home Monday morning. We had a good and a safe trip.
Dave is busy harvesting as are a lot of farmers in NW IA. His yield is really quite good. The farmers around here are at it too but are not quite as far as up there. I took a picture of our corn today and it is really quite green yet for what is has gone through this summer.
We took a little trike ride this evening, it was kinda of chilly but we still ate some ice cream at the Jersey Freeze in Monroe. G'pa has still been working on the second tractor in his 2 out of 3 project:) He's coming along but got tired of the grease and oil this afternoon which resulted in our trike ride:)
We are so very happy to hear that Tobias is 'cast free' as of today. I think he is a blessed little boy to have a Mommy & Daddy that are caring for him in such a wonderful way through all this. Not that it surprises me. We have a most wonderful family and are proud of all of you! Love to all!

| People don't stay the whole time like at the State Fair. It gives people a chance to come a little while, no reservations. |

| This is an interesting attraction, Farmer Bob just drives around with music playing and stops once in a while and talks to people. |
