Derek & Julie came Saturday after Derek was dismissed from the hospital after his knee surgery. Derek is getting along really well. His youth and physical condition is allowing him to get around very good. He is supposed to use the crutches for a month so living on the 4th floor at UNI with no access to an elevator will probably keep him in top physical condition:) Hope he doesn't fill up that backpack too terribly heavy! Julie had to go back to NW IA for her leg appointment Monday and we took Derek up to college in the afternoon. He starts physical therapy right away.
