I haven't posted for a while but nothing exciting seems to happen around here, and since exciting isn't the norm around here, I will post anyway:) Sometimes exciting isn't good so I guess I'll be thankful about that:)
G'pa has had a little project that took longer than he expected-getting rid of the tree stump! I didn't help out with it until last night when he needed someone to pull with the big tractor while he pushed and lifted with the skid loader. That was a big stump! It does make it look better out there, even though that stump was a great burn barrel:) Now if he gets rid of that little building out there and there is one more old building to work on, maybe I can get Dan to come help with that this summer!
It is spring but it seems to take a long time for it to stay. We get really nice days like yesterday and today but they don't seem to stay too long. Patience, that is what I am always lacking! Coming from AZ seems to make Iowa weather seem slow to come around.
Our desktop computer died on us. Haven't had the funeral yet but it is surely coming. I am very thankful for the laptop:) Now I have to decide what kind to get. I don't know whether it is time to go Mac or not. It is tempting! Our computer guy (that sounds techie, doesn't it?) says he would have much less business if everyone had an apple computer. He also thinks HP is better than Dell. Well, I suppose if spending money is fun, I'll have fun:)
I am going with Julie to the Chicago area for a wedding shower and a band concert this weekend. I am looking forward to that. Just hope that Julie doesn't wake me in the night to go check the sheep or that she starts directing band in her sleep! Julie is also taking charge of the band at John's school because of the regular teacher's health problems.
