Julie & I went to Chicago (area) for Carrie and Tim's shower. After that the four of us did a little shopping. Tim made it through that okay. He had fun though when we went to JCPenney home store. They were going to re-register for towels since their other choice was discontinued. The towels that they liked were on sale and Sat was the last day of it so they loaded up a cart and received all of their towels in one bunch:) After that we went to Culvers for dinner.
Saturday was Trinity's band concert and Carrie accompanied one of the songs on the organ. Very nice! After the concert we headed back to Iowa.
It is not very nice weather in IA right now. We could use some of the heat that I hear Doug is working in. He probably would like it cooler. Wish we could share.
