Spring!

There are plenty of signs of spring now. The grass is green, the birds are pecking around in that grass, the perennials are coming along, and grandpa is planting corn. Oh yes, and the town of Pella is planning to have another Tulip Time! For 75 years they have been having this celebration and for 75 years they have probably been worried about whether the tulips are going to be ready or already done! Some are going to be done, I think, but they always seem to come up with enough to make people happy. I'm happy either way:) They are having a dutch dance on Saturday morning to set a world record of number of people. They even have a site so you can learn the dance. The number to beat is 475 but they want to try for 1000. Bob and Mary Jane will probably dance. I don't have any wooden shoes! Whew!! If nothing else gets you excited for tulip time, maybe the picture of all of my tulips will:)
Might go swim today. Haven't done that for a week. Took a few days off to be sick but I'm coming around again now. I'm seeing all the work to be done, that's a sign I feel better! Maybe I'll even start up the cycle again. It is a beautiful day!
