Truckin"

G'pa is taking the last of 4 loads of corn to Eddyville. This is last years corn out of the dryer bin. He would have liked to bring more for this price but they only want what he can get there this weekend and it doesn't work for tomorrow so he sold only what he thought he could get there in a couple of days. He brought two in yesterday and is on his second today. It's good he didn't sell more because they are only taking it til 1 o'clock today. I think that they ran short on contracts for October so gave a good price for corn for the weekend. Probably because it rained for so long again too. G'pa said that it is a zoo at the plant, so many trucks! Next week he can take his new beans to Des Moines. He thought he would be doing that in November but they called and said that he could bring them next week so he's planning to do that.
