50's night

Last night we went to senior dessert night at church which our young people hosted. Yes, it was for the seniors and we decided to accept the fact that it included us:) The kids all dressed up and some of us old people did too. Lots of the girls had poodle skirts on and the boys had jeans that were rolled up, white t-shirts and candy sticks in their mouth or rolled up in their sleeve. They were all cute. Two couples got a prize for being dressed up and we were one of them. The other couple looked best but most of them didn't dress up so that helped us get chosen:) We got a cake for a prize. It was decorated really cute. It was fun!
Today we worked outside cleaning up the yard. Someone from Vermeer dug out the tree stump in front of the house so we got that cleaned up plus a few other things.
Grandpa heard a tractor in the field and got excited but he didn't go out. He actually doesn't have too much to do yet before planting and the soil temp is not very warm yet.
