Grandpa did something this week that he hasn't done before. Stu K talked to him about making a dock to put by his farm pond so the two of them put their heads together and came up with one. Stu has a portable motor so that they can take it out to the middle of the pond also. They brought it over there with our trailer. Before they left to try it out, Stu told me that they would wear life jackets and that if they didn't come back, they would be..........floating! The fish were not biting but I think they had fun trying. Last evening Grandpa took me out to try it and the fish weren't biting then either. We left it tied up to the bank because I didn't have a life jacket and it seems a bit precarious to me:) Johnny, you can go over there with Grandpa sometime! I tried out your fishing pole. It worked good, at least for casting:)

That's a very clever un-dockable double-duty dock. I'm also wondering if it is a very small pond or if Grandma has some new water toy that she's not yet telling us about.
I went fishing last weekend! I caught one little fish, and I put it back in the water. We should go fishing together!
