Back from CO

We arrived back home Monday evening after helping Lois and Alissa move out to CO to join Doug. We had a good trip. We are very thankful that there were no accidents or breakdowns with any of our four vehicles. Lois tried to get ahead of the truck one time but we put a stop to that. We didn't want her to get to drive 75 miles per hour when the rest of us couldn't. We put her back in her place and didn't have any other issues with her:)
The picture by Kearney is pretty well halfway. That is Alissa ahead of me, then Lois and then Grandpa in the truck. We had caffeine pills, diet coke, and Alissa danced in her seat to the music to stay awake and alert. One of us even played her harmonica.
Now I need to get my house in order for company. Wayne & Tena are staying with us a few days starting Wednesday evening. They are coming to visit Tena's mother and sister(and us). Bob is coming from CA at a request by Iowa Health to speak at a meeting on Thursday so will come to visit us on Thursday night and Friday. Next week Mel & Jean are coming for his 50th class reunion. They might camp if we can find them a spot. They had reservations that were canceled due to the flooding. It will be good to see my brothers. Hope to see John also at the end of next month in OR. I haven't heard for sure about our reunion in OR but are planning on it for now.

'Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.'
1 Thess 5:18
