We spent 18 days with our youngest son's family and they didn't even ask us to leave. It was so nice to get to know our little granddaughter better and for her to get to know us better. Grandpa helped with construction and painting and I helped with whatever I could. We took care of Ali while they had important work at the hospital. Then we went to meet our new baby grandson. He is so precious but we knew we couldn't stay forever so after seeing that his mother was doing well, we decided that we needed to get home. We did stop at our oldest grandson's home to see him and his bride of one year. We went out to dinner and had a delicious piece of pie at their house. We had a very nice visit. The next day we drove home and are now back to our regular routine.

Hurrah! I just read through a whole summer's worth of your blogs, now that I have good internet again. What an exciting summer! Especially the motorcycle! And Grant, too, of course.
