We went to Drake University to observe Derek in the Geography Bee. We observed him way to the end because he was the champion!! Number one in the state of Iowa and heading to Washington DC in May. Wow! We want to thank Derek because lots of people come up to us and congratulate us like we are famous or something! That is a nice thing about being grandparents. We are quite proud of course! Congratulations, Derek, on this great achievement!
